With Functional Medicine training, all gynecology patient encounters will include a deeper dive into wellness and lifestyle modifications, as well as recommendations about supportive supplements. Dr. Claxton is a firm believer that given the right conditions at a certain level of disease, the body wants to heal itself. Each condition will be thoroughly evaluated. Non-surgical management will be offered and gynecologic surgeries will be referred to outside providers.
Dr. Claxton offers obstetric care up to 13 weeks and postpartum. The approach is centered around wellness and prevention, with a focus on the most healthy outcome possible.
